Lucania, Metapontion AR Stater. Circa 340-330 BC. Head of Leukippos right, wearing Corinthian helmet; seated dog behind / Barley ear of eight grains with leaf to right, upon which a bird; META to left. Johnston B.3; HN Italy 1576. 7.76g, 22mm, 12h.

Good Very Fine; attractive old cabinet tone.
