Thessaly, Larissa AR Obol. Circa 460-440 BC. Horse walking right, lion’s head above / ΛΑRΙ, nymph Larissa standing right balancing one-handled hydria on her raised left knee; behind her, fountain spout in the form of a lion’s head r. from which pours water; all within shallow incuse square. Hermann pl. 1, 14-15; cf. BCD 160. 0.79g, 11mm, 5h.
