Lucania, Metapontion AR Stater. Circa 340-330 BC. Wreathed head of Demeter right; small A behind neck, [Π below chin] / Barley ear with long leaf to left and short leaf to right; tripod above long leaf, ΠPO above short leaf, META downwards to right. Johnston Class A, 7.7 (same dies); HN Italy 1565. 7.66g, 20mm, 4h.

Very Fine. Rare reverse type with two leaves below the barley ear.
