General Questions

1. What kind of coins does Roma Numismatics deal in? 
Roma Numismatics deals in coins of all periods, including Greek, Roman, Byzantine, medieval, Islamic and modern coins, from 700 BC to the present date. 

2. Can I reproduce images of coins from Roma Numismatics' stock or auctions?
Our photographs may be reproduced for any reasonable non-commercial usage such as theses, research papers, dissertations, personal or informative websites, etc. When doing so please credit Roma Numismatics Ltd as the source of the image, and provide a link to our website www.RomaNumismatics.com

3. How does Roma Numismatics guarantee the authenticity of coins it sells?
Roma Numismatics Ltd is a member of the British Numismatic Trade Association, and has pledged to uphold the highest ethical standards. Our in-house authentication screens all coins offered for auction or retail sale. Any coin subsequently found to be not authentic may be returned for a full refund of the original purchase price as detailed in our sale terms and conditions. There is no expiration to this guarantee.

Buying and Selling

1. How can I consign or sell to Roma Numismatics?

2. Does Roma Numismatics have other stock besides what is displayed online? 
We do have many coins that for lack of time it is impossible to list online. We also maintain a large stock of high quality coins that are not normally kept on the premises and can therefore only be viewed by prior appointment.

3. Can I visit Roma Numismatics' office in London?
We are pleased to welcome visitors to our 20 Fitzroy Square office. An appointment is not strictly necessary, though recommended particularly if you would like to browse the higher end of our stock (see above). See the About Us page for full address details.

4. How do I register to bid in auctions?
To bid on this site, simply click on login/register to register yourself. Please note that all registrations must be manually approved before you can bid. Therefore, please register for an auction as early as possible.
To bid live over the internet during a floor auction, you must register separately at www.coretech.cc
 
5. How do I request a copy of a current or previous catalogue?
Copies of our catalogues can be ordered through our webshop. For current auctions we send complimentary catalogues to all customers who have previously spent £1,000 or over with us on a single invoice. For new customers who can demonstrate spending of £2,000 or more with any other numismatic firm, we will be happy to send a complimentary catalogue upon provision of a scanned invoice copy or professional references.

6. What methods of payment does Roma Numismatics accept? 
We accept payments by bank transfer, cheque, cash, Paypal and Visa/Mastercard. We regret that we are unable to accept American Express. All payments should be made in Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated, or previously agreed otherwise.
